The studio is getting a closet, to improve the appraisal value of the house.  What you see framed here will be a closet-y closet, with sliding doors, flanked on each side with built-in bookcases. The finished project should look nice, and won’t affect the utility of the space for me.

In the meantime, the studio is mostly unusable, as most of what was stored on that wall is stacked all over the rest of the space.  While I can’t paint or print, the computer/office area is still accessible, so it’s time to give the website the face-lift it’s been needing for a while now! I’ll post when the new website’s up.

And I really dig the conflict between vulnerability and fuck-you in the model’s expression.

A few hours and 400+ photos later, I’ve got lots of great source material for future paintings.
